Absolutely Scott,

The neighborhood Project is very active and I see transformation happening on a regular basis. Check out www.simplechurch.tv for some of the other things people can do to make a difference. Thier is a new phase to the project which will help meet some of the practical needs of people in the neighborhood. It's still in testing phase.

Go make a difference where you live. You'll never be the same again.

I've just stumbled onto your site, through my friend, Jeremy's, blog site. You had commented on his most recent post that he was not alone in his venture. I am so happy to have followed my curiosity here. I'm very encouraged by your postings. My husband and I are friends with Jeremy and his wife, and moved to Ft. Thomas, KY to plant a community-based church. Though the Lord called us to the D.C. area about 18 months later, we have not stopped seeking out God's will on this subject. We have been actively involved in community church life for the past 10 years, and it does feel a little lonely sometimes, but we are confident that the Lord will reveal His plan, as we continue to seek His Kingdom.

Thanks so much for your thoughts and for sharing all that the Lord is revealing to you. It's very encouraging!

Are you the author for the Neighborhood Project? If you would be interested, I would love to have you list my site under suggested sites. I just posted a recommendation on our site for your Neighborhood Project.
